Attention, please!

I got sick of making mistakes in my own calculations and built a thing. Oh my god, it's a calculator! 🤣

Now I need your help throwing brilliant ideas into the hat about what else to add or remove — it counts, ahem, with a margin, but it lands more or less right.

There are English and Russian versions, sliders and various buttons, live exchange rates, some snapshot data, and TREMENDOUS maths that accounts even for DOGS AND CATS.

Click, count, multiply, be astonished!

A separate request for help with cities. I put in the first ones that came to mind, but recent Russian migration is very varied, so if you'd like to laugh at figures relevant to you (or cry — each to their own), write in and I'll add them.

[UPD] Added some cities, made small fixes — version 1.1. The trickiest, Turkey and the UAE, are still in question; they're hard to calculate.

[UPD2] Bolted on a dark theme so your eyes don't get scorched at night while you cry over the numbers.

[UPD3] So, over the course of today the calculator has grown from "quickly work out a couple of cities" to 21 cities. Added non-obvious combinations, cash-in-hand salaries, a dark theme, TAXIS, more precise settings for children, and so on. Opus Anthropicovich, my respect 🙇‍♂️

About "retirement."

It feels like we'll live forever, and boomers get carried out of the office feet first, but I'm not too keen on that prospect.

You can adjust the settings, press the buttons, drag the sliders, be amazed at how much cheaper owning is than renting, and specify all sorts of things. Not to frighten anyone — purely for the sake of the awareness everyone's so keen on lately.
